The service
KajiData provides public data through a workspace and an API. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your password and API keys secret. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys.
- Revoke a key immediately if it leaks. Revoke it from your dashboard.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the service to break the law or to harm, track or profile individuals.
- Get around quotas or access limits, share a key to avoid them, or disrupt the service.
- Resell access to the API itself as your own API service without our written agreement.
- Present data as coming from a source or from us after changing its meaning.
Data and licences
Data belongs to its sources and comes with their licences, which are listed on each API page and dataset page. Some licences require you to credit the source or limit how you may share the data. Following them is your responsibility.
We pass on data as the sources publish it. Sources can be wrong, late or unavailable, and they can change their terms. Check important figures against the source before you rely on them. The service is not professional, financial, medical or legal advice.
Plans and payment
- Paid plans are bought for a fixed period by bank transfer, at the price shown when you order. The total includes a unique code that helps us match your transfer.
- A plan becomes active after we verify your payment by hand, not at the moment you transfer.
- Plans do not renew automatically. When a period ends, your account returns to the free plan and your keys keep working within its quota.
- If you renew the same plan early, the new period starts when the current one ends. If you move to a more expensive plan, the new period starts on verification, and time left on the old plan is not carried over. You can move to a cheaper plan once your current plan ends.
- Requests above your quota are refused until the next month or until you upgrade. They are not charged.
- We may change prices and plans. Changes do not affect a period you have already paid for.
Refunds follow our refund policy.
Availability
We work to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted. Many APIs depend on outside sources that we do not control, and we may remove an API when a source closes or its terms change.
Suspension and ending
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law or security prevents it. You can stop using the service at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by email.
Limits of liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by errors in source data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. We will first try to settle any dispute by discussion.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date on this page. For significant changes we will also tell you by email. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
